Take a look at the overview of Design Festival 2023 3Days+Eve

The FORUM8 Design Festival 3Days+Eve presents new software, systems, and research every year. This year, digital twins and the metaverse are rapidly being recognized, and full-scale DX is making concrete progress in business, government, and local authorities, with developments incorporating VR, XR, and AI is accelerating. Moreover, new ways of working and important changes in corporate activities are emerging.

The 17th Design Festival Day1 will start with the 8th Autonomous Driving Conference, and the 22nd 3D-VR Contest will be held. Valuable use cases for digital twins and the digital garden city concept, such as various VR simulations and systems, will be presented. We are strongly pushing forward the development of the F8VPS WebVR platform to build the metaverse, and this time we plan to announce new technologies and features. In cooperation with the State of the Art Technologies Expression Association, the authors of “Learn Cloud & AI in 1 Day” and “Learn Construction ICT in 1 Day” will give new publication presentations, and the publication launch party will also be held.

On Day2, we will have the final screening and Awards Ceremony for the 11th Cloud Programming World Cup “CPWC” and the 13th Student BIM&VR Design Contest on cloud “VDWC”. Teams from around the world who won the nomination screening will compete for a victory. Visitors can also see the newest technologies at the 16th International Symposium.

On Day3, the State of the Art Technologies Expression Association will announce and give the 7th Hagura Award, and Prof. Wakai of Gunma University will give a special lecture. After that, a variety of works which contribute to the national resilience and disaster mitigation will be presented at the 10th National Resilience Design Award. Presentations on the latest information for FEM analysis including the newest Engineer’s Studio® Ver.11.

As in previous years, we will hold the Eve event, this year online. We will also hold a technical tour for invited domestic and international students and award winners, as well as a social golf event for SPU and related parties at the Camellia Hills.

We are really looking forward to seeing you and thinking together about how we can use FORUM8’s software and systems to improve user’s and engineer’s productivity and innovate your company.
